Two Time NASCAR Champion to Make NCTS Start

(Sandusky, OH) The National Compact Touring Series presented by Rev X Oil is proud to announce that current NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Ben Rhodes will race with the touring series. Ben will be racing at the Sandusky Speedway on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 with a hometown Championship Celebration at the speedway in a Sports Compact. The National Compact Touring is a series billed as the “World’s Fastest Compacts” is a traveling series that has raced at Rockingham Speedway, Richmond International Speedway, and North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Ben is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 99 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing. He is the 2021 and 2023 Truck Series champion. Before moving up to the Truck Series, Rhodes competed full-time in what is now the ARCA Menards Series East, where he drove for Turner Scott Motorsports and won the 2014 series championship. He also has previously competed part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, the NASCAR Xfinity Series and what is now the ARCA Menards Series.
